Cycling at Kyoto Higashiyama (Shimogamo jinja, Ginkakuji temple, Gion, etc)
"We were picked up at the hotel at 9 am and spent a great day exploring Kyoto on bike. Kaori Kiriyama our guide was excellent in her job.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting the parks, shrines and temples.
The sight of so many cherry blossom trees made me really happy!
Philosophers' walk area around the Silver Pavilion was especially beautiful.
Lunch was a delicious slippery udon soup. Yummy.
We left the bikes at a designated parking place and ended the tour walking around the Gion district and local shopping area.
A day well spent. Thanks Kaori!"
