This observation point on Mt. Fuji became famous being selected by the famous french guidebook "Guide Vert Michelin". It is located half-way up of the Arakurayama mountain and offer a stunning view both on Mt Fuji and a 5 floors pagoda and cherry trees. It is the perfect place known worldwide to take beautiful pictures. 
There you will have to climb 398 steps but it definitely worth it because the view from the top is unforgettable.
