Busta Shinjuku - Arakurayama Asama park, Asama shrine - Lunch in the restaurant located lakeside of Kawaguchi-co with a view of Mt. Fuji - Ubugasaki cape - Oshino hakkai - Gotemba Tokino Sumika(stay)

-Arakurayama Asama park, Asama shrine

Taking an express bus from Busta Shinjuku, getting off near Arakurayama Asama Park, and walking to the Asama shrine.It is one of the grand view spot for Mt. Fuji which has been chosen for the cover page of Michelin Green Guide.
As it is located in the halfway up of of the Mt Arakura, you can take a photo not only of Mt. Fuji but also the five-storied pagoda and also the cherry blossom. This is the place visited by the people all over the world.
You should climb up 398 stairs, but the wonderful panorama will wait for your ahead.
We will go there in winter time so that you can not see the cherry blossom. However, there will be less tourists, and as we will go in the morning time which is the good timing to see the Mt. Fuji, you can fully enjoy the fantastic view of Mt. Fuji.

-Ubugasaki cape

After the lunch in a restaurant with a view of Mt. Fuji over the lake Kawaguchi, we will go to Ubugasaki cape, the next Mt. Fuji viewing spot.The photographer Koyo Okada, famous with the photo of the Mt. Fuji of 1000 yen bill, he took a lot of photos of Mt. Fuji throught entire his life, but he loved this Ubugasaki cape among all.
The best spot of "upside down Fuji" is Ubugasaki cape.  Especially on the clear and calm weather, you can enjoy the view of the perfect lozenge shape there.
It is very close to the Kawaguchi-ko Ohashi bridge. You can take a photo of Mt. Fuji with the bridge, or you can take photo from the bridge. Many professional and amateur photographer come to this spot.

-Oshino hakkai

Leaving the lake Kawaguchi, seeing the view of Mt. Fuji in your side, we go to Oshino hakkai.Oshino hakkai is the group of springwater in Oshino village of which 8 pounds are the places of pilgrimage for climbing Mt. Fuji. It is registerd in a World Heritage site as "Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration". (Fujisan is Mt. Fuji.)
The water has been filtered in the underground lave for 20 years. It is so transparent that the fishes and even the bed of the pounds can be clearly seen. 
Those beautiful pounds in the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji and traditonal houses with thatched roofs make a pastoral landscape.
How about tasting a local food, a hot Yomogi dango (mugwort-flavoured rice dumpling) in the souvenir shop nearby to warm yourself.

-Gotemba Tokino Sumika
~Ar room with a view of Mt. Fuji and illumination~

Going through the east side of Mt. Fuji, we are going to Shizuoka prefecture from Yamanashi prefecture.
The view of Mt. Fuji from south side will be different from the view from the lake Kawaguchi.Tokino Sumika is a very large complex at the foot of the south side of Mt. Fuji. Originally, it has been a brewery using the natural underflow high quality water, and it was developed now to be a place with hotel, hot spring, restaurants, sport centre, parks, where you find many activities and workshops. 
In the restaurant, you can enjoy the beer of course, and also the dishes made locally from very rich soil of the region. 
There is also a biggest aquarium of goldfish in Japan with 4500 fish of 200 varieties, named Tokino Sumika "Suichu Rakuen (=water paradise) Aquarium" is very popular. (Entrance fee 1000 yen needed supplementary.)
However, among all, you will be surprised with illumination of 5,5millions of lighting. The theme of the illumination is changed every year.
The different objects made by light bulbs, lighting tunnel and fountain, and abundant lightings are used for the illumination all over the park is a must see. Many people come to this place just for seeing them.※English speaking tour leader will attend you until you arrive at Gotemba Tokino Sumika. Rakujuen park (3 minutes walking from south exit of Mishima station/ Admission fee 300yen):
It has been used as a villa for royal family. A Japanese park with a pound of spring water from Mt. Fuji and an original landscape with lava.  There is  Rakujukan which is a building with an architectural style based of a Japanese tea ceremony building called Sukiya-zukuri with Kyoto taste. You can visit also a small zoo with capybara and Japanese macaque.
 
Mishima Taisha shrine (15 minutes of walking from south exit of Mishima station):
A shinto shrine over 1,000 years history. Worshiped especially by samurais.
It has been developped by many visitors travelled between Kyoto and Tokyo in the Tokaido road, just before Hakone.
The Honden (main shrine), Heiden (hall of offering) and Haiden (worship hall) are designated as Important Cultural Properties.
 
Hakone Yumoto:
The most visited hot spring resort in Japan. One of the "Seven Hot Springs in Hakone".
It is considered to be an entrance of Hakone resort, and you can take Hakone Tozan Train (very popular mountain train) or bus to visit other touristic sites from there.
You can go to Hakone Yumoto from Shinjuku by "Romance Car" which is a very popular express train without transit and there are many visitors from Tokyo for one day excursion.
 
Mishima Skywalk:
It is accessible from the south exit of Mishima station, taking the Tokai bus from the bus stop No.5, and getting off at "Mishima Skywalk". (25 minutes by bus and 900 yen for round trip/ Admission fee for Skywalk: 1,000yen for round trip)
The longest suspension bridge for pedestrian of 400m. A tourstic bridge constructed in 2015 and you can find Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji on in good weather.
