Innoshima island

This island is the home of the Murakami Navy from 14th to 17th century, and is where shipbuilding was flourishing until modern times. It is said that the sea around the island was the calmest from Shikoku to Hiroshima, and it why was it developed by having a channel near this island. On the island there is a castle-shaped water army museum "Innoshima Murakami Navy museum" and you can enjoy panoramic views from the top of Mt. Shirataki.
