Things to do in Tokyo this weekend

The time has come! The last week of August is at our door. For a lot of people, this means the end of summer holidays and returning to work or back to school. For others, it's a good occasion to enjoy, one last time, something particular, something which will bring good memories on which they can reflect upon.
For everyone that is or will be in Japan this weekend, here is a list of few events which will be held in the capital and for sure, will make your stay more enjoyable.

- The 30th edition of the «Sancha Latin» Festival will be held at Sangenjaya (in the Setagaya district, Tokyo), on the Saturday, 30th and Sunday 31st. of August.
The program: Candle Night, music, lives, parades and of course, dances and ambiance «Samba»!
(3 minutes from the Setagaya Sangenjaya station, on the Den-en Toshi line.

- Enjoy a delicious beer at the foot of the Tokyo Tower and be able to enjoy the view at every sip, it's possible with the « Oktofest 2014 », a festival where you will be able to enjoy, as you probably figured, of both (beer, beautiful view) as well as German culinary specialties and local music .
This festival will be held at the parc « Shiba Koen » (5 minutes from the exit n°3 of the Kamiyachô station on the Hibiya Line or 5 minutes from the exit n°1 of the Onarimon Station, on the Toei Mita Line).

- If you have missed (like me), the Yosakoi Festival in Harajuku, there will be an opportunity to catch up, with the « Keyaki Fest 2014 », at the Okunitama Shrine. You will be able to enjoy the performances of near 80 groups (2 000 dancers) divided between 10 scenes.
(5 minutes from the JR Fuchû Honmachi Station or from the Fuchû Station on the Keiô Line).
