The Tokyo Rainbow Week is the biggest festival celebrating sexual diversity in Japan. It is held during the Japanese season called "golden week"―the end of April to the beginning of May―with many events taking place in central Tokyo including the Tokyo Pride Parade and the Tokyo Gay Marathon (Colorful Run). There will be club events, workshops, stage performances, film festivals, parties, etc... The Tokyo Rainbow Week is a great opportunity for sexual minorities not only in Japan but also abroad to celebrate their sexuality with people with different nationalities, sexualities, and culture.
The 2014 Tokyo Rainbow Week will be held from the 26th of April to the 6th of May.
The Parade is on the 27th (Sun).
